Papers are primarily personal in nature; material relating to Davis's tenure as Director of the Extension Service is limited. Includes scattered material relating to Davis' work with Southern Railway and his connection with the periodical Progressive Farmer. Also includes limited material on relations between the Extension Service and the Alabama Farm Bureau Federation in the late 1930s.
